I am so glad that you are here and thinking about taking this next step. My journey began in South Carolina where I was born and raised. I made my trek to Nashville for my undergraduate studies in social work at Belmont University and instantly fell in love with the city and all it had to offer.
Throughout my professional career, I have worked in various roles and settings and found my niche working in admissions departments at various substance use disorder treatment faculties for women and children. At The Renfrew Center of Tennessee, I began to fully understand the depth and complexity of eating disorders and soon realized my desire to go more in-depth with individual clients and joined a local group therapy practice.
Today as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I am honored to come alongside my clients on their journey to healing. My experience includes working with clients facing a variety of challenges including eating disorders, disordered eating, substance use disorders, anxiety, depression and trauma. No matter what one of us may be facing, I have come to learn that healing is often found in relationship with others and consider it an honor to be a part of any and all my clients’ path to a fulfilling life.
When I am not working, I am often enjoying time with family and friends. I frequent the local dog parks, enjoy hosting get togethers with loved ones, and feel most at peace when I am near any body of water.
